My Sister has just returned from a brief stay in Prague and spotted this unusual Orchestrion on the Charles Bridge:
I don't know if all the instruments work! I assume that it is Hand Turned?

That looks very much like a Hofbauer Organ. They work on a type of midi system. Ferdi's Drehorgel Orchester has 6 of them electronically linked and playing together. |

Great picture Dave very interesting.
I think Bob is right about the midi system.It could be struggling to get enough wind to operate everything by hand turning.
